I had very long labia that interfered with intercourse. For years I would sometimes get tears after intercourse. I finally had the excess removed. I no longer get tears from intercourse, this surgery was well worth it. I wish I had done it sooner! The healing process took approximately 6-8 weeks, after that I could assume all my normal activities.
I had a left labiaplasty with perineal repair and tightening. It looks 1000% better already. I am 2 weeks and 4 days post op and still have minor discomfort but other than that I couldn't be happier. The first week was rough but by the end of the second I felt mostly back to normal. I am anxiously awaiting my 8 week mark to resume sexual activity! 5 weeks and 3 days out. It is still healing...
